MyExcursions can assist with booking selected pre or post cruise land programs around the world, along with sightseeing options and transfers in your embarkation or disembarkation city. Programs are also available in destinations that are non-cruise related. Iguazu Falls in Argentina and Beijing and Xian’s Terra Cotta Warriors in China are just two examples.

When we plan such overland programs we typically do include required hotel and scheduled air related to the program. All programs are planned and operated on a private basis for your party. We do not offer scheduled group tours to join.

Hotel and Air Arrangements
Typically we do not offer hotel bookings or flights unless related to a specific package. Hotels can be arranged through your travel agent, cruise line or via the Internet. The same applies with air arrangements.

Transfers and Sightseeing
We can set up transfers and sightseeing in conjunction with hotel stays or even long layovers and to conform to flight schedules. These are available as direct transfers or transfer-tours as required.

Visas
While on board a cruise ship, the cruise line in many cases in conjunction with local authorities provides assistance in obtaining the necessary clearance to go ashore. When arriving or departing a country by air, different rules typically apply and any required visa will be the responsibility of the traveler to obtain.

 

Russia is a notable exception.  While all visitors to Russia must be in possession of a Russian Tourist Visa, this requirement is waived for MyExcursions guests of all nationalities while they are participating on one of our programs.   You will not require a visa to go ashore while participating on our tours, please note however that if you wish to go ashore while not participating on one our programs then you must be in possession of valid Russian Tourist Visa.

 

Pre or Post cruise programs arranged by my excursions may require a visa, which will be the responsibility of the guests to obtain directly with the respective country’s Consular Office, a visa service company or their travel agent.
